Verified ReviewerI am a 75 yr old woman who came in for a yearly rust proof undercoating. They upsold me on some collision work for two passenger panels
They over charged me way too much for two passenger rocker panels. I'm getting estimates from other collision.
Consequently ,I feel I was taken advantage of and stuck with an over priced package for the work they did. Which I believe would have been a lot cheaper had I been wise enough to go to another collision shop!

Verified ReviewerGreat professional service
I shopped around and glad I went with Ziebart. Dan in sales worked with me and in a timely fashion on scheduling my car the same week.
I just purchased a new 2026 Tesla model y and it went it got paint corrected and front end wrap and the whole car was ceramic coated and windows got tinted. Dan treated me with a great deal and top notch service.
The car looks better than when I left the lot with it. Definitely give the guys in Ontario a shot when looking for quality and promptness.
I still got rust!
I have been going for rest proofing ever since I got my car and I still ended up with rust on BOTH of my upper rear 1/4 panels! Still have to report it to the West Allis store where Ive been going to see if theyre going to do anything about it. Very anxious to hear what excuse they will have as to why I still got rust despite their rustproofing!!!
User's recommendation: Well, the rustproofing doesn’t work!
Rust truck.
My truck has been undercoated and treated every year since it was new and they guarantee the product to work I always kept my truck washed with a membership at Royal car wash would drive through there every day and still my truck has rusted so badly the frame and bed in the bed was supposed to have been treated with the wax they guaranteed that along with spring and the doors as well and that seems to hold water in the doors.

First time I took a truck in in pristine condition and asked specifically if it would be warranty said as long as I keep up the maintenance so I did and started to rust and refused to fix now my other truck is having the tint come off and there saying I used a chemical on it and won't fix it as if I used something on it why is it only one side of the window and not the whole thing or the other windowsdont use them
Bumper rusted off
I noticed my bumper had pulled away from my truck. I looked underneath and saw that it had rusted even though I've had it Ziebart done for many years. is there something I can do to rectify this before my bumper falls off
Compliment for Ziebart of Quakertown, Pa.
Paul and his management staff were exemplary in providing excellent personalized customer service. I have nothing but praise for the way they handled every aspect of our interaction.
Praise is given where it is due, and it is certainly due and appreciated in this instance.

Verified ReviewerDeceptive pricing by Ziebart
When I scheduled the work I was told it would cost $600. When I arrived for the work I was informed that there were additional fees amounting to $35.
They told me that this information had been emailed to me. I never saw it. I was aggravated to hear that but had them proceed. When I went to pay for the work I was charged another 3% for using my credit card.
They stated that I had been informed of this through the paperwork they gave me when I dropped of the car.
This was a lie. These unidentified fees amounted to $55.57.
This is deceptive pricing

I wasn't not pleased with the detail service, I received on 3/10/2025. They didn't vacuum the trunk, I had to, go back in to tell them to clean, inside console! Inside roof of car wasn't touched! I kn
Know my car is old, but not vacuuming is just plain wrong and lazy! Also they could at least, attempted to try to clean inside ceiling of the car. I really felt and still feel, taking advantage of, because I'm a female.

Awful Sloppy Service
About 5 weeks ago, I called to get pricing and set up an appointment to have a Rhino Liner sprayed on my truck bed. I was quoted a price of 799 plus tax and was forced to pay IN ADVANCE for the service.
I didn't like that idea but I did so anyway.
When I got to my appointment that Friday, I was met by a Joseph James who introduced himself as the Vice President of Outside Sales for Ziebart. I now assume he works for this franchise, but I can't be sure.
Joseph was INCREDIBLY rude and pushy, trying to sell me everything from undercoating to ceramic coating and becoming quite offended when I said no. He asked at least 4 more times.
I did agree to window Tint on my front windows and the top of my windshield. I paid 299.00 plus tax for this additional service.
When I left the shop, my windshield was FILTHY.
It looked like it had been cleaned with an oily rag. Photo is attached. They also left a spray bottle and squeegee in the truck.
About 3 weeks later, I noticed that the tint on both windows was bubbling. I returned last Friday 10/25 and they re-tinted the windows.
This Wednesday I noticed that the driver's window was again bubbling.
The bubbles were much smaller this time but were present. I called the shop and asked that they remove the tint and refund my money. The person I spoke with said "no problem" and set me up for today.
I got to the shop today and again was met by Joseph. He took my keys and got me started.
All was well until...
I came back to pick up the truck when it was complete and was handed my keys and asked to sign a work order. When I asked about the refund, Joseph refused to refund my money. He said "I am not refunding that, it was a tiny bubble and we could've fixed it. We usually charge $25 to remove the tint but I'm not charging you." I expressed my disgust, and told Joseph that he WAS going to refund me, or I would just dispute all $1100 or so that I spent there with my bank.
His response was to tell me that he has my signature on all of his paperwork and that they could've fixed the tint. It wasn't until I got agitated and the other customer waiting for his car said "I guess I shouldn't have come here" that Joseph decided he would refund PART of what I paid for the tint. He refunded me $200, which did not include the sales tax on what I paid. I'm sure the Dept.
Of Revenue in PA would love to know that your company keeps the tax on refunds.
As he was issuing the refund to my card, Joseph made the comment that it was "just a small spot" and told me that I was "being overly picky to be honest."
I beg your pardon. I paid $300 for tint, had to come back twice for problems, and I am being "overly picky" because I want it done correctly.
Now that it's all said and done, I still have a messy windshield and there is still tiny glue left on my driver's side window.
The work of this shop is not only sloppy, but seems rushed.
I live an hour from this shop, about 40 miles. My truck gets about 15mpg, and I've made the round trip 3 times now. That's 18 gallons of gas at about $3.50 per gallon.
I need to now go somewhere and have the rest of this glue removed, and I will need to clean my windshield.
Incidentally, I was diagnosed with cancer about 6 weeks ago and have been dealing with that, doctor's visits, and thought I would cheer myself up with some modifications to my truck.
Instead I got extra stress and pushy sales tactics.
I ask...why would I spent $1800 on undercoating or $1500 on ceramic (which I had planned to do in the coming month or so) at an establishment that can't even tint a window properly, where the techs don't clean up after themselves, and when this is what I'm met with when there is a problem? It wouldn't make much sense, now would it.
Purchased a remote car starter
$520.00 for a remote car starter that is sitting on floor of my Cadilliac CTS. Dec.12, 2024 I went to Ziebart for the installation of the t car starter.
Dropped the car off. Price quote was $440.00 out the door. When I arrived they said they had to charge me $50.00 extra for taking out the old remote starter. Next morning battery is dead.
Get a jump go to auto zone. They said something has drained you battery. He said take it back to Ziebart and let them fix it. So I took it back, they said it was fixed.
Before I left the Ziebart parking lot the cat died while in gear to drive off. The Technician seemed angry and said I did something. How do you start the car in drive? Next day same thing, dead battery.
I call Ziebart no appointment available for Friday Dec.20,2024. Got a jump went to get new battery. Now the lights are flashing on and off after I turn the car off. Went to have the remote starter removed.
Have had no problem since. The dealership said Ziebart rigged the installation and get a refund. Ziebart said no refund lifetime warranty just keep bringing the car back to get it fixed. I am 67 yrs old just had a back surgery in May.
I don't have money just to give Ziebart and I don't have time or energy to be stranded or run back and forth to, just give me my money back.
Please advise. Thanks!

Worst ever my car has dirt on the seat,on floor, side of my door, and glass was not cleaned. They vacuumed and did not shampoo to get dirt out.
Spent $350 they could of at least get the dirt off.
Wax was good but don't expect it to look great on the inside. They told me shampoo is when you get the diamond gloss wax another $200 I got that last year 10 year warranty I shouldn't have to reapply and my seats shouldn't have dirt..never again
- Wax is good
- Bad detailing
Preferred solution: Clean the dirt
User's recommendation: Don't do it
Poor customer service
When we took my husband's truck in this morning, they claimed that there was no appt for his truck today or mine tomorrow. They did say they could take care of his truck , but couldn't see mer bewarebuyne until next week.
No one called to say it was done and they didn't answer their phone at 4:30;.
We drove there and at 5 they hadn't even looked at his truck. He finally left there atc5:30.

Verified ReviewerLies about the process
Ziebart process applied to a used pickup because a paint bubble appeared at the fenders wheel arch. The intent was to waterproof the back side to prevent additional rust.I returned for the recommended touch up maintenance, and remarked about how the rust is progressing.Discovering that the areas were double panels,I asked how the rust treatment was applied in between the panels. The lady pointed to the plastic plug in the passenger side rocker panel, and said it was applied through it.There is NO possible way that would ever happen. Also the front fenders were destroyed at the bottoms, behind the front tires.A complete waste of approximately $600.
User's recommendation: Avoid the process

They told me the same thing and they keep having me bring my car back. I’ve taken it back three times for my remote start to get fixed and it still is not fixed. I told him I would call corporate and he said go ahead cause I know they got my back, and he said I would never get a refund this place because my remote start does not work either until after the car has ran for a while after you started up it won’t even unlock the doors
